Upstairs FROM Daisy Margarita Bar, guests are transported with rose-colored glasses through space and time at the highly experiential Gilbert Perez Bar. The elevated rum-focused cocktail concept presents an alternate reality, based on a rare historical phenomenon believed to have taken place in the 1500s when the teleportation of the bar's namesake occurred. Adean practiced no restraint when designing Gilbert Perez, taking a more is more approach abundant in mixed and layered patterns––drawing inspiration from the colors of San Miguel de Allende and the simple architectural forms of famed Mexican architect, Luis Barragán. A dose of 1940s pool party with modern baroque design elements, the fully immersive space brings all who enter into its vortex.
